DomainKeys Identified Mail in Shared Hosting
The DomainKeys Identified Mail feature is enabled by default for all domain names that are hosted in a shared hosting account on our cloud platform, so you won’t have to do anything yourself to activate it. The only condition is that the particular domain name should be hosted in an account on our end using our MX and NS resource records, so that the e-mails will go through our mail servers. The private cryptographic key will be created on the server and the TXT record, which includes the public key, will be published to the global DNS system automatically, so you will not need to do anything manually on your end in order to activate this option. The DomainKeys Identified Mail email authentication system will permit you to send out trustable email messages, so if you are sending offers or a newsletter to customers, for example, your emails will always reach their target viewers, while unsolicited third parties will not be able to forge your email addresses.
DomainKeys Identified Mail in Semi-dedicated Hosting
Our semi-dedicated hosting come with DKIM enabled by default, so if you select a semi-dedicated hosting package and you add a domain name using our name servers through your Hepsia Control Panel, the records needed for the validation system will be created automatically – a private cryptographic key on our email servers for the digital signature and a TXT resource record carrying the public key for the global DNS system. As the DKIM protection is set up for a certain domain, all e-mail addresses created using it will have a signature, so you will not need to worry that the emails that you send out may not be delivered to their destination address or that someone may forge any of your email addresses and try to scam/spam people. This may be rather important in case you rely on email communication in your business, since your associates and/or customers will be able to distinguish real emails from bogus ones.
